Job summary

Stafforce Recruitment is seeking a Technical Internal Sales Executive to join a busy, office-based team in Daventry. You will handle enquiries, prepare quotations, process orders and build product knowledge to support customers from enquiry through delivery.

The role offers structured training, opportunities to develop into a more technical sales path, and a competitive salary dependent on experience. 26 days leave + bank holidays is included.

Qualifications

• Confident telephone manner and clear written communication.
• Comfortable with pricing, quotations and order information.
• Organised and able to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
• Experience in internal sales or related customer-facing roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer enquiries by phone, email and live chat in a professional manner.
• Prepare accurate quotations and follow up with customers to progress opportunities.
• Process customer orders accurately and monitor them through to delivery.
• Develop detailed product knowledge across consumables and related technical equipment.
• Work with purchasing and technical colleagues to source products and identify suitable solutions for customer projects.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, quotations and orders using Microsoft Business Central.
• Build trusted customer relationships by understanding requirements and recommending appropriate products.
• Support the wider sales and technical team on larger, more complex or bespoke enquiries.
