Our Client in Milton Keynes is seeking a Trainee Internal Sales Engineer to blend technical engineering knowledge with B2B sales. You’ll work with Technical and Sales teams, receiving product training and supporting customers from enquiry to order.

Qualifications

• Holds an engineering qualification.
• Strong mathematics or physics background.
• Genuine interest in developing a career in technical sales.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support.
• Prepare technical quotations and proposals.
• Understand customer requirements and identify suitable solutions.
• Calculate costs and apply margins.
• Process customer orders and maintain records.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding product availability and orders.
• Coordinate with warehouse and internal teams to ensure correct deliveries.
• Maintain sales and enquiry records.
• Keep customers informed on products, developments and orders.
• Support existing customer relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
• Assist with general sales administration and reporting.
