Job summary

Pertemps Leicester is seeking an Internal Sales professional in Leicester to join a well-established manufacturer. You will handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations and support the sales team with technical products.

You'll build strong relationships, manage tender docs and keep CRM up to date, with occasional customer visits and a practical mix of technical sales, account management and customer support.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B Internal Sales or account management.
• Experience working with technical products, tooling or manufacturing products.
• Ability to discuss technical specifications with customers.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience preparing quotations and sales documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proactive in following up enquiries and opportunities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer enquiries and understand customer requirements.
• Prepare accurate quotations for tooling and component parts.
• Provide customers with product and technical information.
• Follow up quotations and potential sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Support the external sales team with day-to-day sales activity.
• Complete tender documentation and sales paperwork.
• Keep customer and sales information up to date on the CRM system.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure enquiries are progressed.
• Attend occasional customer visits when required.
