Job summary

Arch Steel, part of ArcelorMittal Building Solutions, is seeking a technically minded Internal Sales Estimator. You will respond to incoming enquiries, interpret drawings, and calculate materials to prepare accurate quotations.

Ideal candidates will read and interpret engineering drawings, have practical sheet metal manufacturing experience, and be organised with strong numerical skills. Roofing/cladding exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal manufacturing/fabrication is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings.
• Advantageous to have CNC or CAD exposure, roofing/cladding industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming customer enquiries with accurate quotations.
• Interpret drawings and requirements to calculate materials and manufacturing needs.
• Prepare and send accurate quotations; liaise with supply chain and production.
• Communicate material requirements effectively to production; maintain customer contact as needed.
