Job summary

Arch Steel, part of ArcelorMittal Building Solutions, is seeking an Internal Sales Estimator to join the team in Trafford Park. You’ll primarily respond to incoming customer enquiries, interpret drawings and requirements, calculate materials and manufacturing needs, and prepare and send accurate quotations.

You’ll liaise with supply chain and production to ensure material requirements and information are communicated effectively, with occasional contact with existing customers.

Qualifications

• Experience within a sheet metal manufacturing/fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical or engineering drawings.
• Experience in estimating, costing and quoting is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming customer enquiries and interpret drawings.
• Calculate materials and manufacturing needs and prepare accurate quotations.
• Liaise with supply chain and production to communicate material requirements and information.
• Occasional contact with existing customers during quieter periods.
