Job summary

Arch Steel, part of ArcelorMittal Building Solutions, is recruiting an Internal Sales Estimator for its Trafford Park site. You will respond to incoming enquiries, read and interpret technical drawings, and calculate materials and manufacturing requirements to generate quotations.

You’ll work closely with supply chain and production to ensure accurate information is shared, with occasional customer contact.

Qualifications

• Practical experience within a sheet metal manufacturing/fabrication environment.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical or engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming customer enquiries, interpret drawings and requirements, calculate materials and manufacturing needs, and prepare accurate quotations.
• Liaise with supply chain and production to communicate material requirements and relevant information.
• Occasional contact with existing customers during quieter periods.
