Job summary

Arch Steel, part of ArcelorMittal Building Solutions, is seeking a technically minded Internal Sales Estimator in Trafford Park to respond to incoming customer enquiries, interpret drawings and determine materials and manufacturing needs.

You will prepare accurate quotations and coordinate with supply chain and production to ensure information flows smoothly, with attention to detail and strong numerical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical or engineering drawings.
• Experience in estimating, costing, quoting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming customer enquiries.
• Interpret drawings and determine materials/manufacturing needs.
• Prepare and send accurate quotations.
• Liaise with supply chain and production to ensure information flow.
• Occasional contact with existing customers.
