Job Description
Our team members are passionate, driven and up for a challenge. If you have ambition to make a difference, then please read on.
We’re embarking on a major transformation of our technical documentation, migrating a large library of product manuals from Microsoft Word into Adobe FrameMaker. This is a key project that will improve document quality, consistency, regulatory alignment, and long‑term efficiency.
To support this transition, we’re looking for an organised and detail‑focused individual who takes pride in accuracy and clear communication. You’ll play a direct role in ensuring our user documentation meets internal standards and regulatory requirements, contributing to a smoother, smarter workflow for years to come.
As a Technical Documentation Assistant, you will help transfer existing Word based manuals into Adobe FrameMaker using our templates and workflows. You do not need prior FrameMaker experience—training will be provided—but you must be highly competent in Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems quickly.
This position will be based at our Barnsley site and is expected to last 6 months. Although this is advertised as a full time position, part time working will be considered for the right candidate.
