AECOM is seeking a Technical Director - Highways & Active Travel to lead the Highways & Complete Streets team from our St Albans or Aldgate offices. The role focuses on technical and regional leadership, bid development, and client relationship management within a hybrid work pattern.

You will drive team development, contribute to marketing and thought leadership, and ensure delivery across a range of mobility projects for local and national clients. A degree and Chartered status are required.

• Proven team leadership, business development, client management and project delivery experience.
• Relevant degree and Chartered status with a recognised professional institution.

• Client relationship building and work winning, including bid management and proposals.
• Lead thought leadership and public publicity across projects.
• Provide technical leadership across Highways and Complete Streets projects or work packages.
• Manage and mentor local Highways & Complete Streets teams and support resourcing.
• Collaborate with internal teams across geographies and business lines.
