AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a highways and drainage focus to join our team in St Albans. The role covers multidisciplinary infrastructure projects from feasibility to construction, supporting UK and Ireland design teams.

You’ll lead technical delivery, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to bids while benefiting from AECOM’s hybrid working model, career development, and global resources.

Qualifikationen

• Civil Engineering degree (BEng) and/or Master’s degree (MEng).
• Experience delivering highways and drainage design for residential, commercial, and wider infrastructure schemes.
• Proficient in InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience working with developer clients and contractors.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS is welcomed but not essential, with interest in AI solutions.

Aufgaben

• Lead the technical and digital delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare and review survey specifications, including utilities and topographical surveys.
• Check and coordinate the production of studies, assessments, and conceptual designs for development schemes (drainage, highways, utilities, earthworks, and flood risk).
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and key stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure compliance.
• Contribute to bids and proposals, attend project meetings, and communicate technical solutions.
