Job summary

Blue Light Card Ltd is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to oversee delivery across multiple squads within Product and Engineering. You will spot blockers, manage risks, and ensure cross-functional alignment from squad level to senior leadership.

You will lead agile ceremonies, maintain delivery reporting, and drive smarter usage of AI tools to improve efficiency and data quality. A hybrid working model is in place with a mix of HQ presence and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a delivery, programme coordination or PMO-type role within a product and technology environment.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery, planning and governance practices, including scaled agile like SAFe or LeSS.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Confident facilitating agile ceremonies and enabling collaboration over authority, with a Scrum/Agile certification such as PSM or SAFe.

Responsibilities

• Check in regularly with squads on delivery status and maintain a live cross-squad picture of risks and dependencies.
• Identify blockers and dependencies, weigh trade-offs, and own resolutions with other functions.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retros) and track actions to closure.
• Maintain and improve delivery reporting, including squad health summaries and sprint dashboards.
• Coordinate cross-squad dependencies and shield squads from interruption.
• Support quarterly planning cycles, chasing inputs and flagging slippage early.
• Promote Jira hygiene, consistent planning inputs and reporting formats.
• Use AI tooling to improve efficiency, automate status roll-ups and surface risks earlier.
