Job summary
Blue Light Card in London is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead one of our engineering teams within a high-performing, product-led agile organisation.
You'll champion agile practices, deliver high-quality solutions, manage technical operations, and align delivery with business goals while fostering a collaborative culture across Product, Design and Platform Engineering.
Qualifications
- Experience as an Engineering Manager with a robust track record of leading multiple teams.
- Proven ability to coach and develop individuals through regular 1:1 meetings and feedback.
- Strong grasp of agile practices and ceremonies across product and design disciplines.
- Experience delivering scalable technical solutions with attention to quality and standards.
Responsibilities
- Guide and motivate a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Collaborate with Product and Design to plan, sprint, and address incidents quickly.
- Monitor production components with Platform Engineering and ensure NFRs.
- Champion agile methodologies and cross-team best practices.
- Promote a quality-first mindset and align technical decisions with architecture.
- Provide technical design input and contribute to the roadmap.
- Engage stakeholders to align team outputs with business goals.
