Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Technical Customer Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as a key interface between the sales team, customers, and our laboratory, reporting and interpreting test reports in relevant Product Testing Categories.

• Report and communicate results to clients.
• Provide high-level customer care both internally and externally.
• Support sales in fulfilling customer needs and requirements.
• Stay updated on current techniques, legislation, and standards to advise clients accurately.
• Create and update report templates as standards evolve.
• Assist laboratories in applying best practices and interpreting results.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and repeatability of test results.
• Generate high-quality, technical client reports with conclusions.
• Understand costing details within the LIMS system and flag discrepancies.
• Support work tracking through timely completion of Excel documentation.
• Assist in testing when appropriate training is provided.

Based in Lancastrian House near Old Trafford Cricket Ground, the workplace offers modern facilities, parking, public transport access, cafes, shops, and a nearby gym.

Qualifications

• Understanding of testing processes and relevant legislation.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and/or LIMS.
• High attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
