Job summary

Miller Homes is recruiting a Technical Coordinator for a 12-month FTC in the South West region (Bristol BS32 4UD). The role provides the link between design and on-site construction, acting as the main point of contact for technical issues and ensuring timely, cost‑effective resolutions with the Central Technical Team.

You will work with the Region to prioritise workloads, help determine consultant and sub‑contractor proposals, and ensure all approvals are obtained for a prompt start on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Technical Coordinator with a housebuilder, consultancy, or related field.
• All-round knowledge of technical issues including Building Regulations/NHBC standards.
• Qualified to HND/HNC or degree level and/or corporate membership of a recognised professional institute.
• Ability to input and help determine and manage consultant/sub-contractor proposals with the Technical team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely within the Region to understand Technical needs and act as a key link back into the Central Technical Team.
• Help determine and manage consultant and sub-contractor proposals in conjunction with the Technical team.
• Ensure approvals are obtained and information received/issued to allow for a prompt start on site.
• Make decisions on an Area and Regional level on all Technical matters.

We are looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator to join our fantastic South West Technical team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. The role will see you provide the link between design and on-site construction by being the main point of contact for Technical issues within a Region. When appropriate to subsequently liaise with the Technical Team to ensure all matters are dealt with in a timely and cost effective way.

Technical Coordinator Responsibilities

Technical Coordinator Requirements

• Have experience as a Technical Coordinator with a housebuilder, consultancy or in a related field
• To have an all-round knowledge of technical issues including a good understanding of Building Regulations / NHBC standards
• To be qualified to HND/HNC or degree level and /or have corporate membership of a recognised professional institute
• To be able to input and help determine and manage consultant and sub-contractor proposals in conjunction with the Technical team
