Job summary

ACTIVATE GROUP LIMITED is seeking a Technical Claims Handler to join the Sopp+Sopp team in Halifax. You will handle vehicle claims end-to-end, from repair instructions to completion, delivering excellent customer service while updating stakeholders throughout the process.

The role supports a busy claims environment, requiring strong communication, time management, and the ability to work with bespoke software. A permanent, full-time position in a collaborative, growth-focused company awaits.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound and receive inbound calls to/from customers, clients, 3rd parties and repairers.
• Manage vehicle claims end-to-end from repair instruction to completion and escalate only where necessary.
• Use bespoke software and databases to record and maintain information for each claim.
• Manage workload, prioritise, and ensure claims progress with high customer service standards.
• Provide accurate updates to team managers and customers as required.
• Ensure SLAs are met or exceeded.
• Communicate and collaborate with all parties to achieve an optimal repair journey.
