Job summary

Red Recruitment is recruiting for a Technical Claims Handler in Bristol City Centre on a permanent basis. The role focuses on handling complex technically nuanced claims and acting as a subject matter expert across the firm.

The successful candidate will provide technical and legislative claims expertise, work with brokers, lawyers, investigators and assessors, and help shape processes while supporting training and supervising during peak periods. Hybrid working after probation is available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of handling claims essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of claims and related processes.
• Ability to build internal relationships across the firm and with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Hours: 35 hours per week, 9.30am - 5.30pm

Key Responsibilities of a Technical Claims Handler

• Handling complex technical claims cases

Key Skills and Experience of a Technical Claims Handler

• You ideally will have a strong understanding of claims including technical knowledge and experience (10 plus years of handling claims essential)
• You should be able to build internal relationships and understand the expertise across the firm
• Having a commercial, committed and proactive approach is required
• You will need to be able to interact with clients, intermediaries and suppliers to build effective, collaborative working relationships based on trust
