Job summary

Activate Group is a UK-based company seeking a Claims Handler to join the Customer team in Peterborough. You will manage vehicle claims from start to finish, ensuring professional service and SLA adherence across our client base.

The role offers full-time, permanent engagement in a fast-growing business with development and progression opportunities. You will be part of a supportive culture across our contact centres and repair networks.

Qualifications

• Experience in claims handling within vehicle/fleet industry
• Understanding of repair lifecycle and fleet repair/modifications
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls daily
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to manage own time and workload

Responsibilities

• Make and receive outbound calls to customers, clients, third parties and repairers
• Manage queries end to end from first contact to resolution, escalating only when necessary
• Use bespoke software and databases to record, update and maintain information relating to each claim
• Manage own workload, prioritising tasks daily
• Provide accurate updates to team managers and customers
• Ensure all SLAs are met and exceeded
