Job description

GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a highly successful and well‑known manufacturing business located in Pershore. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Author to join their team on a full time, permanent contract, to independently produce high-level documentation. You will work hands‑on with the machinery to translate complex engineering into clear, accurate manuals and qualification packages. This position is office based, working Monday – Friday 08:00am – 16:30pm offering a salary of up to £45,000 which will be pending relevant, previous experience.

About the Role

Do you enjoy turning complex engineering into clear, professional documentation? At PPS, no two projects are the same. Every machine we build is bespoke, giving you the opportunity to work on a wide variety of engineering projects rather than producing repetitive documentation. Unlike many Technical Author roles, you will work directly with our Design, Production and Project teams and see the machinery throughout the build process, collaborating closely with our engineers to ensure that every document accurately reflects the finished equipment. This is a role where your curiosity and engineering understanding really matter. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of how complex machinery works and turn that knowledge into documentation that is clear, useful and genuinely valuable to the customer. If you have experience documenting machinery, automation systems or other complex engineered products, we will support you in developing the specialist knowledge required for pharmaceutical validation documentation and industry-specific requirements. If you take pride in producing high‑quality documentation, enjoy understanding how things work and like working closely with experienced engineers, we’d like to hear from you.
