Job summary

GMP Recruitment are partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Pershore to recruit an experienced Technical Author for a full-time, permanent role.

You will closely interact with machinery to translate complex engineering into clear manuals and qualification packages, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Office-based with a 08:00–16:30 schedule, salary up to £40,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a technical authoring role with a technical or automation background.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent written English and communication skills.
• Organised, detail-oriented with an engineering mindset.
• Collaborative team player who can work with machinery documentation.

Responsibilities

• Produce full documentation packages (Manuals, IQ/OQ, SDS, HDS, DQ, and FDS).
• Work hands-on with machinery to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Contribute to streamlining documentation processes.
• Ensure all documentation meets required industry standards.
