Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd in Saint Mellons is recruiting a Technical Advisor Apprentice to join the expanding technical team. You will rotate through departments, handle customer inquiries and learn through a fully funded Level 3 Apprenticeship, progressing toward a qualified Technical Advisor.

The role offers a £26,436 starting salary, a yearly bonus, and excellent benefits including mentoring, a structured training plan and clear career progression within construction and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have excellent communication skills with customers by telephone and email.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science are required.
• Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office are expected.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn technical information quickly.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical enquiries from customers, architects, contractors and installers via telephone and email.
• Provide product information and technical guidance under supervision.
• Assist with technical calculations including fastener and gutter calculations.
• Review technical drawings and specifications to assess compliance with product requirements.
• Support customers with technical queries through design and installation stages.
