Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is supporting a leading manufacturer in Saint Mellons to recruit a Technical Advisor Apprentice. You will rotate across departments, respond to customer enquiries, and learn how construction projects progress from concept to installation while completing a fully funded Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Expect hands-on experience within a busy technical team, guidance from seasoned advisors, and exposure to the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Interest in office admin roles within construction, engineering, architecture or manufacturing.
• At least one year of office experience in admin/technical drawings/customer service.
• Excellent communication and confidence speaking with customers by phone and email.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn technical information quickly.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical enquiries from customers, architects, contractors and installers via telephone and email.
• Provide product information and technical guidance under supervision.
• Assist with technical calculations and review drawings/specifications to meet performance requirements.
• Support customers throughout design and installation processes.
• Assist with drawings and project information for site teams and colleagues.
