Job summary

Bridgewater Resources UK seeks an Account Manager for its Cardiff team, combining account management, customer service and proactive sales to grow a customer portfolio. You will build long-term relationships and develop knowledge of a specialist technical product range.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or account management experience in wholesale, distribution or other B2B environment.
• Interest in technical products and ability to learn and understand product applications.
• Confident, able to build relationships, commercially aware and motivated by sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing customer accounts.
• Build long-term relationships with customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Handle customer enquiries, quotations and orders.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts.
• Make some limited outbound calls.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to support customers.
• Develop knowledge of a specialist technical product range.
