Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Cardiff is seeking a confident Account Manager to join our specialist technical sales team. The role combines account management, customer service and proactive sales to build long-term relationships with a portfolio of customers.

You will work with suppliers and internal teams, understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products from HVAC, Electrical and Process Controls.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or account management experience, ideally within wholesale, distribution or another B2B environment.
• Interest in technical products and the ability to learn product applications is important.
• Confident and comfortable speaking with customers and building relationships.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing existing customer accounts.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with customers.
• Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products.
• Handling customer enquiries, quotations and orders.
• Identifying opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts.
• Working with suppliers and internal teams to support customers.
• Developing knowledge of a specialist technical product range.
