Job summary

EY-Parthenon in London seeks an Assistant Director (Senior Manager) to lead Technology M&A deal execution. You’ll advise clients across sectors, manage cross-functional teams, and shape transaction strategies from pre-deal diligence to integration planning.

The role requires a strong IT background, excellent communication, and a proven ability to manage complex programmes while developing junior staff within the UKI market.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Experience in IT due diligence and post-merger integration.
• Broad knowledge of IT areas: architecture, operating model, governance.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Program and project management expertise; delivering successful programmes.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead/prep post-deal engagements across UKI.
• Manage blended project teams from transactions and advisory practices.
• Support origination with pitches and client presentations.
• Advise on transaction strategy and readiness assessments.
• Identify high-risk areas and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop junior staff and contribute to people initiatives.
