Job summary

EY-Parthenon in London seeks a Manager to lead technology-focused M&A advisory across pre- and post-deal work. You will guide IT due diligence, separation and integration programs, and work with cross-border teams on UK and Ireland engagements.

You will manage blended project teams, originate opportunities, and support senior clients with actionable insights. The role offers exposure to industrials, energy, consumer and health sectors within a global advisory network.

Qualifications

• Experience of transactions, ideally in performing of IT Due Diligence and/or IT post-merger integration, separation/carve-out assignments.
• Broad knowledge and deep understanding of IT aspects including Enterprise Architecture, IT Operating Model, IT Strategy and Governance, Systems Integration and Application Development, IT Service Delivery, IT Infrastructure, IT Financials and Data.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Programme and Project Management experience with delivery of successful programmes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience delivering high-quality reports and presentations.
• Analytical mindset with insights on IT aspects of transactions.

Responsibilities

• Leading and/or contributing to pre deal, post deal, separation and integration engagements with clients across all sectors including Private Equity across the United Kingdom and Ireland (UKI).
• Manage blended project teams comprising colleagues from our transactions and advisory practices.
• Assisting in business origination, including pitches and presentations, and working in project teams with EY Parthenon colleagues.
• Working on client engagement teams executing EY Parthenon services to support key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for transactions.
• Assess the client's state of readiness with respect to people, resources, planning, data collection and strategy, identifying high-risk areas and opportunities for improvement.
• Learn and develop technical and personal skills to support career goals, through structured learning, coaching and experiences.
• Contribute to people initiatives, recruiting, retaining and training current and future staff.
