Job summary

M-KOPA Ltd is seeking a Lead People Partner to own the people agenda for our Technology organization as we scale across Africa, Europe, the UK and beyond. You will partner directly with the CTO and leadership team to shape engineering talent strategy and organisation design.

You will lead a global, senior population of engineers and collaborate with a Centre of Excellence for data, ER, and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Senior HR partnering with engineering/tech scale-ups
• Proven org design depth: levelling, spans & layers
• Strong stakeholder management at executive level
• Experience partnering with engineering/tech teams in scaling environments
• Remote/global experience across regions is a plus

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to CTO and engineering leadership across Technology & Product
• Own end-to-end people partnering for Engineering with a Senior People Partner reporting to you
• Coach and develop direct reports and set directional standards
• Leverage people analytics to inform capability, attrition and cost decisions
• Drive distributed team effectiveness across multi-country teams
• Handle complex employee relations across jurisdictions
