Job summary

Herefordshire Council is seeking a Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Delivery & Development Practitioner to join the TEC Service in Hereford. The role combines frontline assessment and installation with service development, requiring hands-on experience of a wide range of telecare equipment and daily activity monitoring systems.

You will assess needs, install equipment, and help extend the model with remote monitoring.

Qualifications

• Practical telecare and TEC installation experience is essential.
• Experience installing, configuring, testing and demonstrating TEC equipment in people’s homes.
• Experience with daily activity monitoring systems and traditional telecare products.

Responsibilities

• Manage referrals and complete strengths-based TEC assessments with adults, carers and professionals.
• Independently configure, install, test, fault-find and explain telecare and TEC solutions.
• Set up daily activity monitoring and review outcomes to evidence changes in routines and risks.
• Contribute to equipment evaluation, pilot projects, training and service improvement.
