Job summary

Herefordshire Council is seeking a Technology Enabled Care Delivery & Development Practitioner to join the TEC service in Hereford. The role combines hands-on installation with ongoing service development, including remote monitoring and evaluating outcomes.

The successful candidate will have practical experience of installing telecare and TEC equipment in people’s homes, including daily activity monitoring, and will work across community settings to support person-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience of installing telecare and TEC equipment in people’s homes.
• Ability to interpret daily activity monitoring data and trends.
• Strong communicator with safeguarding and privacy awareness.
• Experience working in health, social care, housing or reablement settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage referrals and complete strengths-based TEC assessments.
• Configure, install, test, fault-find and explain TEC products.
• Set up and review daily activity monitoring and report changes.
• Contribute to equipment evaluation, pilots, training and stock oversight.
