Job summary

The Development Manager Ltd in the West Midlands is seeking a commercially minded Learning and Development Consultant to drive employer engagement across the Midlands. You will identify and win new clients for TDM's Tech and Digital Programmes, helping them recruit, reskill and retain staff through apprenticeships and related training.

In this role you will lead B2B conversations, manage a targeted pipeline, and advise employers on funding opportunities and levy usage while hitting growth

Qualifications

• Background in the apprenticeship or skills sector.
• Proven B2B sales track record and converting prospects into sign-ups.
• Ability to work to strict timelines and targets.

Responsibilities

• Prospect employers across the West Midlands to secure conversations with decision-makers.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective employers matched to TDM's programmes.
• Lead digital transformation conversations using training needs analysis.
• Secure formal commitments to deliver apprenticeships or other programmes.
• Attend networking events and present TDM services.
• Account manage allocated employers and support the learner journey.
• Grow revenue and identify future growth opportunities.
• Exceed monthly apprenticeship start targets with high compliance.
• Keep accurate records and comply with policies including safeguarding and data protection.
