Job summary

West Midlands Growth Company (WMGC) is seeking a Sector Lead - Technology & Digital to own high-profile investor relationships, lead inward investment projects, and act as WMGC's recognised sector expert across technology and digital services.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll help position the West Midlands as a destination of choice for global technology businesses looking to invest and grow.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within the Technology & Digital sector; strong understanding of market trends, commercial drivers and investment opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategic Technology Investment Projects by owning the region's significant inward investment opportunities.
• Build and influence senior stakeholder networks with investors, industry bodies, intermediaries, government agencies and key sector partners.
• Drive sector growth and business development activity; shape investor development strategies and promote the region internationally.
