Job summary

Benugo in Exeter is seeking a Team Member to support Front of House and Kitchen operations across five days out of seven. You will deliver high-quality service, prepare and serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment in line with brand standards.

The role involves regular weekend work, with a friendly, team-focused culture and opportunities to progress within WSH/John Lewis partnerships. A competitive hourly rate of £12.71 is offered.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
• Assisting with kitchen, front of house and back of house cleaning duties.
• Organising deliveries and ensuring fridges are stocked using FIFO.
• Clearing tables and maintaining a clean working environment.
• Ensuring labels and prices are correct.
• Maintaining awareness of promotions, pricing and product information.
• Working on tills and handling cash.
• Adhering to food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures.
• Collaborating with colleagues to meet service targets.
• Attending training and development courses as requested.
• Representing WSH and John Lewis professionally.

This role encompasses working any 5 of 7 days in a week, with regular weekend work. You will offer the highest standard of service, providing a positive and efficient customer experience by preparing and serving quality food and beverages, maintaining a clean work environment, and delivering excellent customer service.

Job Description

Contract: Full Time or Part time

Hourly Rate: £12.71ph

• Ensuring the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
• Assisting with any kitchen, front of house and back of house cleaning duties.
• To organise deliveries, and ensuring the fridges are stocked, using a first in, first out process.
• Assisting with clearing tables and maintaining a clean working environment.
• To ensure all labels and prices are correct.
• Maintain awareness of promotions, pricing and product information.
• To be flexible to work on tills, following the cash handling procedures, taking orders and working on the floor, serving food and drinks.
• Follow food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet service targets and maintain smooth operations.
• To attend all training and development course as requested.
• To always represent WSH and John Lewis in a professional manner in your behaviour appearance and knowledge.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.
