Job summary

Benugo is seeking a Team Member to support the culinary team across full-time shifts, five days out of seven in London. You will deliver high-quality service, prepare and serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean, efficient workspace while ensuring a superb customer experience.

The role includes regular weekend work, meals on shift, and a range of employee benefits. You will be part of a growing partnership delivering quality offerings in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain highest standard of customer service and experience.
• Assist with kitchen, front of house and back of house cleaning duties.
• Organise deliveries, stock fridges and FIFO processes.
• Clear tables and maintain a clean working environment.
• Ensure labels and prices are correct and visible.
• Be aware of promotions, pricing and product information.
• Handle tills, cash procedures, take orders and serve food and drinks.
• Follow food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet targets and ensure smooth operations.
• Attend training and development courses as requested.
• Represent Benugo and John Lewis professionally at all times.

Job Description

This role encompasses working any 5 of 7 days in a week, with regular weekend work. You will offer the highest standard of service, providing a positive and efficient customer experience by preparing and serving quality food and beverages, maintaining a clean work environment, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
• Assisting with any kitchen , front of house and back of house cleaning duties.
• To organise deliveries, and ensuring the fridges are stocked, using a first in, first out process.
• Assisting with clearing tables and maintaining a clean working environment.
• To ensure all labels and prices are correct .
• Maintain awareness of promotions, pricing and product information.
• To be flexible to work on tills, following the cash handling procedures, taking orders and working on the floor & serving food and drinks.
• Follow food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet service targets and maintain smooth operations.
• To attend all training and development course as requested.
• To always represent WSH and John Lewis in a professional manner in your behaviour appearance and knowledge. To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.
