Job summary

WSH Group is hiring for a customer-focused cafe/food service role in Reading, working in Benugo-branded spaces within John Lewis locations. You will prepare and serve food and beverages, maintain cleanliness, and deliver excellent service across flexible shifts.

Role involves some weekend work, with a minimum of 10 hours per week, and you will be expected to adapt across front-of-house and kitchen tasks while representing WSH and John Lewis professionally.

We are incredibly proud to be growing our partnership withJohn Lewisto deliver a new brand for their in-store restaurants in 32 of the retailer's stores. This role encompasses working any 3 of 7 days in a week, with regular weekend work. You will offer the highest standard of service, providing a positive and efficient customer experience by preparing and serving quality food and beverages, maintaining a clean work environment, and delivering excellent customer service.

Job Description

Hours: Minimum 10 hours

• Ensuring the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
• Assisting with any kitchen, front of house and back of house cleaning duties.
• To organise deliveries, and ensuring the fridges are stocked, using a first in, first out process.
• Assisting with clearing tables and maintaining a clean working environment.
• To ensure all labels and prices are correct.
• Maintain awareness of promotions, pricing and product information.
• To be flexible to work on tills, following the cash handling procedures, taking orders and working on the floor, serving food and drinks.
• Follow food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet service targets and maintain smooth operations.
• To attend all training and development course as requested.
• To always represent WSH and John Lewis in a professional manner in your behaviour appearance and knowledge.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.
