Job summary

SDR is seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our newly established supported living service in Worthing. You will lead a small team, provide person-centred care, and help the individual with autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy and complex needs to live a fulfilling life.

This permanent, full-time role offers £15.25 per hour for 36 hours per week, with a comprehensive induction, generous annual leave, and opportunities for career progression within a values-driven organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with autism and learning disabilities.
• Experience with complex needs and epilepsy.
• Previous leadership or senior-level experience.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Leading, supporting and motivating a small team of Support Workers.
• Providing person-centred care and support.
• Supporting an individual with autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy and complex needs.
• Ensuring care plans, risk assessments and health protocols are followed.
• Promoting independence, dignity, choice and positive outcomes.
• Supporting staff with their development, supervision and day-to-day practice.
• Working positively with families, healthcare professionals and other professionals.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring high standards of care.
• Helping to create a safe, structured and positive home environment.
