Job summary

SDR Group in Eastbourne is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities live more independent lives. The role requires compassion, reliability and a willingness to learn, with full training provided.

You’ll work a 36-hour week on a rolling shift pattern, including days and sleep-ins, and you’ll be part of a friendly team that values dignity, respect and person-centred support. DBS will be enhanced after offer.

• Support individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities to live as independently as possible.
• Encourage independence and development of everyday life skills.
• Assist with community activities, hobbies and interests.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with individuals and the team.
• Provide emotional reassurance and practical support in a calm, person-centred manner.
