Job summary

Arundel Care Services Ltd. is seeking a supported living manager for a 24-hour service in Durrington, Worthing. You will supervise a small team, ensure dignity and respect, and develop person-centred plans to maximise independence for three adults with learning disabilities and autism.

The role involves shift work, two admin days, some weekend work, and sleep-ins (£70 per sleep-in) with DBS checks and driving licence preferred. Salary £32,994 plus sleep-ins and on-call enhancements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working within a service that delivers care to vulnerable adults.
• Minimum Level 3 NVQ or Health & Social Care Diploma.
• Full UK driving licence is preferable to help support our service users in the community.

Job description

The opportunity has arisen for a supported living manager within our small 24 hour supported living service based in Durrington, Worthing, West Sussex. We provide 24-hour support for 3 individuals with learning disabilities & Autism who share their home together. You will provide supervision and values-led management to a team of support workers.The role is shift based, with two administrative days per week, working alongside the team of support staff you manage and does include some sleep-in duties.

Who we are looking for:

• Managerial experience is desirable but if you have been a deputy, senior or a Team leader within a similar setting and are ready for career progression, this could be the role for you.
• We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the right values and behaviours to nurture a positive workplace culture based on dignity and respect.
• Minimum 2 years working within a service that delivers care to vulnerable adults, including those with a learning disability/mental health and understanding the issues they face.

• Minimum Level 3 NVQ or Health & Social Care Diploma.

Requirements:

• Working on a shift basis across the week with two administrative days per week, some weekend working is required
• Sleep-in duties will be required as part of the role - these are paid in addition at £70 per sleep in.
• Please note that all our positions require an Enhanced DBS check in relation to adults.
• Full UK driving licence is preferrable to help support our service users in the community.

Salary - £32,994 per annum + Sleep ins + on-call enhancement
