Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Team Leader for its supported housing services at The Belmont, Clevedon. You’ll oversee daily operations, lead a team of staff and volunteers, manage referrals and develop pathways to tenancy independence, while ensuring safe, recovery‑focused support aligned with contractual requirements.

You will liaise with Social Services, Housing and mental health services, maintain records and reports, and deputise for the Area Manager when needed. A driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in supported housing or a similar role.
• Ability to manage day‑to‑day service operations and compliance.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience working with external agencies and partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day running of the service.
• Lead, supervise, mentor and support staff and volunteers.
• Manage recruitment, induction, training, performance reviews and absence.
• Oversee referrals and eligibility checks for service users.
• Develop support pathways and tenancy sustainment plans.
• Monitor performance against targets and contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with Social Services, Housing, Jobcentre, Probation and mental health services.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and service documentation.
• Manage safeguarding, incidents, health & safety and other risks.
• Provide a small caseload when required to support service delivery.
• Promote partnership working and ensure service users have a voice.
