Job summary

Red 5 People Ltd. is seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee two supported housing services in North Somerset, covering Clevedon and Weston-super-Mare. You will manage a small team, oversee operations and ensure high-quality, recovery-focused support for adults with mental health challenges.

The role requires frontline leadership experience, driving strong partnerships with external agencies and a commitment to safeguarding and service targets. Full-time, on-site with Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

Two years’ experience at Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or equivalent level.
Experience coordinating staff, volunteers, projects or service delivery.
Background in supported housing, mental health or similar support environment.
Understanding of needs of adults experiencing mental health challenges or other complex circumstances.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operation and development of both services.
Lead, supervise, coach and develop support staff and volunteers.
Support staff recruitment, induction, training and performance management.
Monitor service performance, KPIs and contractual requirements.
Oversee referrals and ensure residents receive appropriate support.
Build relationships with housing providers, social services and external agencies.
Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, risk management and service standards are maintained.
Support residents to develop independent living skills and prepare for move to independent housing.
Deputise for the Area Manager when required.
May hold a small caseload to support service delivery.
