The Squirrels is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities. Cygnet Group seeks a Team Leader (Social Care) to lead a team, support service delivery and promote independence for adults with complex needs.
The role is 42 hours per week on a permanent contract, with 12-hour day shifts across a 7-day rota, including two weekends per month. Salary starts at £15.39/hr and rises to £15.64/hr, with development and DBS-related benefits.

Working 42-hours per week (Days Only) on a permanent contract, working 12-hour days across a 7-day rota, including approximately two weekends per month.
Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care
Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
Learn aboutindividuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required
Support management in the day-to-day running of the service
Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities

Either currently working as a Senior Support Worker or Team Leader
Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities or behaviours that challenge
Experienced in shift leading, delegating tasks to junior staff members and supporting Service Managers
Genuinely driven to make a difference in people's lives
Confident, assertive & ambitious for yourself, service users & the organisation
An excellent communicator & good team player
Organised, committed & keen to develop your management & leadership skills.
