Job summary

The Squirrels is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities. Cygnet Care Services Limited is seeking a Team Leader (Social Care) to lead a team, provide supervision, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care on a permanent basis.

Working 42 hours per week, days only, on a 12-hour day rota including some weekends. DBS check required; training and development opportunities offered. Competitive hourly rate with additional benefits and discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in social care or similar settings.
• Experience with adults with autism and learning disabilities preferred.
• Possess caring, proactive attitude with strong safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of care professionals on a 12-hour day rota across 7 days.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff and ensure quality care.
• Assist with the day-to-day running of the service and administrative duties.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment for residents.
