Job summary

HICA is seeking a Care Team Leader for Isaac Robinson Learning Disabilities in Hull. The role involves leading and supporting staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care across night shifts.

You'll oversee care plans, maintain accurate records, promote independence and dignity, and ensure safeguarding and accordance with CQC standards. Training is provided, with opportunities for qualifications and internal career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience working in care.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or relevant experience.
• Medication training.
• Experience supervising or supporting other staff.
• A positive, proactive approach and a genuine passion for care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support staff in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
• Provide emotional support while promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
• Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and accurate record keeping.
• Support residents with personal care, daily living tasks, meals, and mobility needs.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' wellbeing.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and concerns are reported promptly.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Promote meaningful activities, community participation, and positive outcomes for residents.
• Act as a role model, providing guidance and supervision to the care team.
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
