We are currently looking for a Care Manager to lead a team providing care and support to our residents across the village. Buckshaw Retirement Village provides a new concept in retirement living with distinct communities offering options for ownership and rental in an attractive and well-appointed location.
As a Care Manager you would be providing leadership and support to ensure a high-quality service delivery which meets legislative and company requirements as well as the individual needs of our residents

Supervisory experience is essential as you will be required to lead and motivate team in the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring that our residents are treated with dignity and respect at all times. You will need to work as part of a team as well as being able to lead the team and to work independently.
You should be an experienced care professional with a level 3 qualification in a care-related subject. You will need to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of legislation appropriate to the care industry. You should possess excellent time management skills and be able to manage a varied workload demonstrating the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure. Good communication skills are a must and you will need to work collaboratively to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
