Job summary

Haulfryn Ltd. seeks a Leisure Team Leader to support the Leisure Manager at Finlake Holiday Park. You will supervise team members across gym, leisure and spa, driving high standards of service and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for guests.

The role requires experience in gym/leisure/hospitality, strong leadership and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Opportunities for development and a competitive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in leisure operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise leisure team members (lifeguards, activity leaders, receptionists, cleaners).
• Provide visible leadership and drive high standards of service.
• Oversee daily gym, leisure and spa operations ensuring safety and welcome.
• Maintain health and safety standards including pool safety and facility checks.

Salary: 28,225.60 per annum

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

What You’ll Do

As a Leisure Team Leader, you will:

• Supervise and support leisure team members including lifeguards, activity leaders, receptionists, and cleaners
• Provide visible leadership, driving high standards of service and professionalism
• Oversee daily operations of the Gym, leisure and spa facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment
• Maintain health and safety standards, including pool safety, facility checks, and record keeping
• Assist with the delivery of our activities programme, supporting engaging and fun sessions for guests
• Mentor, train, and support team development and performance
• Handle guest queries and feedback, ensuring positive experiences and issue resolution
• Work closely with the Leisure Manager, supporting all aspects of smooth leisure facility operations

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a proactive, organised leader with:

• Previous experience in a Gym, leisure, fitness, or hospitality environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A focus on delivering great guest experiences
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within leisure operations
• The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Desirable

• Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing or a level 3 Diploma in Personal training
• First Aid at work
• Pool Plant Operators Certificate
• A Valid RLSS NLPQ UK Qualification in Pool Lifeguarding
