Job summary

Haulfryn is seeking a Leisure Team Leader to support the Leisure Manager at Finlake Holiday Park. You will supervise a diverse leisure team including lifeguards, activity leaders, receptionists and cleaners, driving high standards of guest experience.

The role requires leadership in a gym/fitness/hospitality setting, with a focus on safety, guest satisfaction and the delivery of a varied activities programme. Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous gym/leisure/fitness/hospitality experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Focus on delivering great guest experiences.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within leisure operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support leisure team members including lifeguards, activity leaders, receptionists and cleaners.
• Provide visible leadership, driving high standards of service and professionalism.
• Oversee daily operations of the Gym, leisure and spa facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
• Maintain health and safety standards, including pool safety, facility checks and record keeping.
• Assist with the delivery of our activities programme, supporting engaging sessions for guests.
• Mentor, train and support team development and performance.
• Handle guest queries and feedback to ensure positive experiences and issue resolution.
• Work closely with the Leisure Manager, supporting all aspects of smooth leisure facility operations.

What You’ll Do

Desirable

• Level 2 Certificate in GymInstructing or a level 3 Diploma in Personal training

• First Aid at work
• Pool Plant Operators Certificate
• AValid RLSS NLPQ UKQualificationin Pool Lifeguarding
