Job summary

Haulfryn Ltd. at Finlake Holiday Park is seeking a Leisure Team Leader to support the Leisure Manager in running day-to-day operations of the gym, leisure and spa facilities, and to ensure a welcoming, safe guest experience.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a passion for delivering memorable leisure experiences. You’ll supervise team members, manage health and safety checks, and help deliver activities while supporting staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience in gym, leisure, fitness or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in leisure operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support leisure team members including lifeguards, activity leaders, receptionists and cleaners.
• Provide visible leadership, driving high standards of service and professionalism.
• Oversee daily operations of the Gym, leisure and spa facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
• Maintain health and safety standards, including pool safety, facility checks and record keeping.
• Assist with delivery of activities programme and engaging sessions for guests.
• Mentor, train and support team development and performance.
• Handle guest queries and feedback and resolve issues.
• Work closely with the Leisure Manager supporting all aspects of smooth leisure facility operations.

Salary: 28,225.60 per annum

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

What You’ll Do

As a Leisure Team Leader, you will:

• Work closely with the Leisure Manager, supporting all aspects of smooth leisure facility operations

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a proactive, organised leader with:

• Previous experience in a Gym, leisure, fitness, or hospitality environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A focus on delivering great guest experiences
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within leisure operations
• The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Desirable

• Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing or a level 3 Diploma in Personal training
• First Aid at work
• Pool Plant Operators Certificate
• A Valid RLSS NLPQ UK Qualification in Pool Lifeguarding
