Team Leader - Kidlington

Team Leader Care and Support – Floryn House Care Home Contract: Full Time and Part Time. Salary: £14.14 per hour. Shift Type: Days. Contracted hours: 24-48 hours per week.

Our brand new, purpose-built facility situated in the beautiful village of Yarnton, Oxfordshire, provides exemplary Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care for 73 residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day Team Lead at Floryn House Care Home in Yarnton, Oxfordshire.
  • Co‑leading the team to deliver the highest standards of person‑centred care.
  • Planning and allocating workloads in close collaboration with the management team.
  • Overseeing care delivery and ensuring residents receive safe, dignified, individualised support at all times.
  • Leading by example on the floor, guiding and supporting the care team.
  • Maintaining accurate care plans and mentoring new colleagues.

What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader in an elderly care home setting.
  • A confident, hands‑on approach to leading and managing a care team.
  • Strong understanding of person‑centred care and CQC standards.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care – preferred or working towards within a proven Medication Management experience.
  • Compassionate, organised, and committed to excellence in everything you do.
