Job summary

Sheffield City Council is seeking two permanent Grade 7 Team Leaders for the Income Management & Financial Inclusion Team. You will lead staff from Grades 3 to 6 and focus on reducing rent arrears while maximising income for the housing revenue account.

Your base will be at the Solpro buildings in Attercliffe with at least 60% onsite work, and opportunities to work at other venues as needed. You will drive continuous improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a diverse team within a public sector or large organisation.
• Strong track record in performance metrics and staff development.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver on time.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Grades 3–6 staff within IMFIT and manage performance.
• Lead rent arrears reduction and ensure targets are met for the HRA.
• Contribute to process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.
