Job summary

Sheffield City Council is seeking two permanent Grade 7 Team Leaders for the IMFIT. The roles involve leading a diverse team from Grades 3 to 6, driving performance, and ensuring rent income targets for the Housing Revenue Account.

The post is based at Solpro buildings in Attercliffe with substantial onsite presence and opportunities to work at other venues. You will develop expertise across IMFIT disciplines, including rent/arrears collection, performance, compliance, and financial inclusion,

Responsibilities

• Play a key role within the wider team, focusing on reducing rent arrears and providing strong leadership to meet annual targets and objectives.
• Focus on performance management, supporting staff to achieve good performance against key performance indicators.
• Base at Solpro buildings in Attercliffe with a requirement to work onsite at least 60% of the time; may work from other venues as needed.
• Develop expertise across IMFIT team leader disciplines including rent/arrears collection, performance/compliance, income/rent debit reconciliation, financial inclusion and community engagement.
• Utilise performance tools to drive improvements; responsibilities include quality assurance, reviewing legal work, and ensuring compliance with legislation.
• Embrace change, demonstrate creativity and innovation, manage time effectively to deliver daily operations; support Operations and Development Managers in continuous improvements.
