Radis Community Care is seeking an Extra Care Team Leader based at Waverley Court, Portishead. You will lead a team delivering person-centred support to residents in an extra care housing complex, balancing independence with wellbeing.

You will supervise Support Workers, coordinate schedules, assist with daily living activities, and foster a safe, inclusive environment. A driving licence is advantageous; Enhanced DBS is required, and sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of one year in a Team Leader / Senior role.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care required, with a willingness to work toward Level 3.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

About the Role

As a Team Leader in our Extra Care Service, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality support to people living independently within their own homes in the extra care complex. Our approach emphasizes understanding and responding to the unique needs of each individual, helping them maintain their independence while ensuring their well-being.

You will be the first point of contact for the care and support provided, with responsibilities include:

• Conducting supervisions, team meetings, and mentoring Support Workers to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Coordinating schedules and allocating tasks to maintain personalized support plans for each person.
• Supporting people with daily living activities such as medication, mobility, and personal care when needed.
• Building positive relationships within the extra care community.
