Radis is hiring a Team Leader for our Extra Care Service based at Southlands, Broadfield Road, Knowle, Bristol. The role supports people living independently in the extra care complex, balancing care duties with leadership responsibilities.

You will supervise Support Workers, coordinate schedules, assist with daily living activities, and foster a safe, inclusive environment. The position is permanent but for maternity cover, offering a competitive salary and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in a Team Leader / Senior role.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care required, with willingness to work toward Level 3.

About the Role

As a Team Leader in our Extra Care Service, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality support to people living independently within their own homes in the extra care complex. Our approach emphasizes understanding and responding to the unique needs of each individual, helping them maintain their independence while ensuring their well-being.

You will be the first point of contact for the care and support provided, with responsibilities including:

• Conducting supervisions, team meetings, and mentoring Support Workers to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Coordinating schedules and allocating tasks to maintain personalized support plans for each person.
• Supporting people with daily living activities such as medication, mobility, and personal care when needed.
• Building positive relationships within the extra care community.
